Question: Getting from CSR to Universal

We're going to CSR in June on a conference. Our teenagers really want to go to Universal, but I am clueless about it. How far away is it? How do we get there from CSR (no car)? What do tickets cost? Can we do Universal in 1 day? Is it worth taking a day away from Disney to do it? Thanks!

Universal is about a 1/2 hour from WDW. I think that the best bet for your teenagers would be to book Mears shuttle. I think that the cost is about $14 or $15 per person round trip, and they will pick you up at your resort. I think that you need to call them prior to leaving the park, about an hour or so to arrange a pick up back to the resort.
