We have been kicking around the idea of buying into DVC for a while. I think I uderstand the points, home resort and use year. One question I can't seem to find an answer for is about using points to stay at a non-DVC Disney Resort. We love the Yacht Club and I am trying to figure out how many points we would need to stay in the yacht club for nine nights either in early November or early December. Can anyone point me to a chart to help figure this out?

thanks
Ty

I think its on DVC member site, I'll check it and get back to you.

Its there if you have access. Disney Collection. Three diferant views, Standard, Water or Pool, Regatta Club all vith varying points values. Sun - Thur 36-59 pts, Fri/Sat 65-106 pts for Nov 30-Dec 18.

It is much, much cheaper to just stay at the BCV or BWV.

the WDW resorts are NOT part of DVC.

Thank you very much. That was exactly what I was looking for. I'm assuming if you stay at a WDW Reosrt then you would get full housekeeping, not the same service you get at DVC.

Yes, but you can also get full housekeeping at DVC if you pay additionally for it. I would have a hard time spending the amount of points needed for the Yacht club regular hotel room when I can stay in a 2 bedroom right next door at either Beach Club or Boardwalk for far fewer points. More space, less points,

You also have to pay a $95 transfer fee to book outside of DVC, except for DL resorts.

So a nine night stay at the YC would cost you a billion points, plus $95.
