Can you recommend a case to store the cables, headphones AND my Zen Micro? I have looked everywhere. BTW, I love my ZEN!!!!!!

I have it, but I dont use a case....what are you looking for a case for exactly?

I have the hard/leather case that goes around the player, but I use mine in my car mostly so I dont use the headphones much. I keep the headphones in my car's center console for when I run....

By cables, do you mean the USB cable?

Do you mean like a camera bag type case?

Sorry for all the questions, didnt sleep well so I might be overlooking something in your post LOL

I am looking for something to hold the USB cable, the power cord, my headphones and everything that came with my ZEN. I already have a case for the player itself. Everything is currently in the box and around the box.

I just keep my cables by my computer because that's the only place I need them. I have the Zen Jukebox (60g hd) so I may be missing something here.

When/if you need to replace your headphone (I'm pretty hard on mine) I found a GREAT set at Wal-Mart (no W-M bashing here, please) that are made by SONY. They cost $10 and were better than the original. 'Bout knocked my ears off the first time I used them!

Do you have a model number where I can look to buy them other than at Walmart? :teeth:

You got me to thinking that the only other item I would ever need to take would be the power adaptor. I found a CaseLogic that would work...I think. I bought Phillips street-style headphones instead of the earbuds (worthless) because I do alot of running. That would be the only other pain of toting my Zen around on trips and such.

Also, and again at WAL-MART, I bought a Sony cassette adapter for the car. Our van (1992) only has a cassette player. I plugged the adapter into the headphone jack and it works great! Again, about a $10 investment. (Wal-Mart is GREAT!) Just make sure to turn down the sound on your player to at least half if not a little lower or it will really distort your sound. You adjust the volume through the car stero, not the player. Again, I don't need to carry the adapter around, it just stays in the cassette slot.

Do you really need to carry the charger around? Just wondering, maybe you do. The only time I need my adapter is when I'm out of town for a few days.

I do question some of the "negative" reviews. If you put them on backwards they probably WON'T stay in place very well. But, like another reviewer said, they do a great job of blocking out outside noise as well.

I have the Zen Touch and I bought a small camera case at Staples. It has a velcro pouch on the front that I use to hold the headphones. I would try a couple different stores to find a small one that holds everything for you.

I have those same headphones for my iPod because I wanted something that fit over my head---I hate the earbud ones, and I don't know what they were thinking when they designed the ones that go around the neck?! I must be getting old because I really miss the old styles of headphones. What was wrong with them? :rotfl2:

They sound great, and since they're cheap enough, I don't worry about them much. Just wish they made them in white. :(

I have a cassete adapter too, but I can keep my volume up to 18, I also have the 60 gig hard drive model. It matters what type of stereo you have in your rig as well. I have a blaupaunk and it sounds incredible even up to 20 with some of the songs. I crank it most of the time LOL

I dont use have a car charger, I just bring it in at night because its not good to let it get cold and charge it with the house charger, it is plugged in right next to my computer, and my USB cord is hooked up to my computer 24/7.
I also leave my cassate adapter in the car, I have a 5 disk changer in my Passat, but I rarely use it. All of my music is on the Zen anyway....well, 3200 songs of it

I have headphones that wrap behind my head so they stay on when running..
