I'm going to Disney with someone who has a major bug-phobia. I know they show sci-fi clips at this meal -- are any of them bug-related? i.e. "The Fly That Ate Manhattan", "Attack of the Radioactive Boll Weevils," or anything of the like?

If so, we'll do the 50's Primetime Cafe instead! :)

Ha! That cracked me up! I don't really remember any bug movies on the screen. There were the usual monster/godzilla type things, but I don't recall any bugs.

I have a spider phobia, and I think I would have probably remembered if there were spider clips. And I would think that they wouldn't want movies with cockroaches or things like that (simply because it's a restaurant:scared1:) I think you'll be pretty safe.

Maybe someone else can help you more than I. I've only been once...

Good luck! :snail::butterfly

It seems like there was one of those radio-active giant bugs on one of those clips!:scared1: Or it may have been the original "Fly" clip.
There must be someone who remembers better?

I believe there is a clip with giant ants - but the clips can be ignored, they aren't so loud that you have to pay attention

I don't remember the names, but I've seen a variety of bugs on the screen - grasshoppers, spiders are the ones that come to memory. They were only a few seconds long and are really cheesy - but if someone has a fear, then ...:scared1:

I do remember ants and other big bugs ( maybe grasshoppers) and then big spiders, I recall those well. You can easily ignore the clips though as PP stated.

Thanks you guys! That is super-helpful.

The person in question is a very young child, so I'm going to err on the side of caution and skip that restaurant, as neat as it sounds. (Also skipping "It's Tough to be a Bug" at AK!) :)

SciFI IS dh'S favorite! He is a big SciFI fan. The clips are very cheesy. I remeber a brief grasshopper & a brief spider scene. DD is afraid of any kind of bugs but they didn't scare her. I think she was 7 on her first trip to SciFi.
