Question for those who cruise - Disney and Non-Disney

If your kids are going to spend most of their vacation in a pool, a cruise is NOT the vacation for them. Especially if they actually want to swim, not just splash.

We only let the kids go on the aquaduck on the Fantasy & the Dream. We skipped the pools. Before the cruise the kids complained when I told them. Then they saw the kid soup (pools) :scared1: They had no problem waiting for a beach to swim.

Honestly you can get some swim time in at off times. Like early morning or early evening. I know people who do that with little ones.

I will also add that both our cruises took us to Nassau. It is not the most impressive place, but another passenger said he googled Nassau excursions or something like that and found a deal to use the facilities at the Hilton (I think it was Hilton) for the day. The kids got to use the pools and there was also the beach. It wasn't affiliated with the ship, but booked through the resort. That sounds like something that might work for you, where ever you end up cruising.

There are several hotels you can get a day pass, or Atlantis" I think the. Hilton has a food/drink option, the Sheraton is $30 a person with lots of pools, toys, loungers etc.

For grown ups there is the Rum cake factory, the Rum factory, the old fort and stairs has a market nearby' oh amiss all the poverty on the off roads, as you go into town is a magnificent building. I asked Tommy Bahama (our tour driver for $20 a piece) what it was, he said Mitt Romney's Bank. Now that's rich.
