Question for those that went on the Wish

My hot take is to save the money and not book the Wish. Then, while on that cruise book a placeholder cruise with the intention of sailing on the Wish with a discount.

Just a heads up that the Wish has more blackout dates than the other ships - at least from the ones they have listed for 2022.

The only one I saw was a basic bucket with an orange lid and characters on it. It sold out fairly early into the cruise.

I'd say that the Wish was a slight favorite for us for a few reasons. First, the food is better on the Wish than we had on the Fantasy and Magic. This is a big part of the cruise experience for us.

We also liked the pool layout on the Wish much more than on the other ships. One of our favorite disney cruise activities is to watch funnel vision while relaxing on the deck. When you want to cool off, it's nice to have several less-crowded pool options than one or two packed pools

The biggest drawback for us was the promenade design, but I don't think it's enough to cancel out the things that we liked better.

We rarely use the adult pool area so that's not a consideration for us.
