Question for those that have used Visa discounts

How does that work? Do you have to pay for your entire stay on your Visa card, or just use the card to make a deposit, or not use the card at all...just have one? Thanks!

I think they tell you that you have to pay the deposit and balance on the card. Once you make a charge, it will automatically go to a special section on your statement at the 0% APR for 6 months. You can continue to make regular purchases and pay towards those, but any extra you pay over your monthly charges will go towards the vacation package.

Jusr make sure you pay it off by the 6 month mark - it should be noted on your statement next to the charge.

In the past, you had to put the $200 deposit on the card...the rest you can pay off however you like. (I've done this twice, so I am not just spouting what I've heard.)

At DTD, the 10 % discount at WoD you just *show* the card, don't need to actually use it.

What if you have already paid for your trip? Can you just get the refund applied to the card? I paid off my vaca with a gift card.
