Question for those of you who live in the woods

How do you keep the bears out of your garbage?

We have a storage building, but the first time it riped a small top piece of the door off and kept banging until it was able to get the bag out. (that bent the lock) Last night it just unlocked the door and drug the entire can out.

it unlocked the door, the only bear that could do tha would be Yogi Bear

I grew up in the woods, but we didn't have bears. We had more problems with possums and raccoons getting in the garbage. We also had problems with the cows from the neighbors that lived behind us getting in our yard. Cows like to chase you as much as bulls do.

Ellie May needs another critter. I had a friend in hs that was scared to come visit me. She said everytime she came to see me, she thought she was at the zoo. We had Llama show up in the yard one time when she came to visit.

The door lock is bent really bad, so it is easy to open now.
