Question for those going in October....

are any of you guys booking the fantasmic dinner package....we were originally going in August and I was planning on booking this due to high volumes of crowds, but I was wondering if anyone still thinks this is necessary to get a good seat for Fantasmic??? Thanks guys.

We are going to do this. One of the reasons is we don't want to wait in the line to get in. With the package you get eat and guaranteed a seat.

I don't think it's necessary if you are willing to wait a little longer. It won't be as busy as other times of year, but I have never been to Fantasmic when it didn't fill up, even in Oct. We are getting the package just because we enjoy not having the long wait anymore....it cuts our wait in like a third because we would always be there really early to get center stage seats! Now, we've seen it enough that we don't mind having not-so-perfect seats. It just depends on it you feel like waiting a little longer to get your seat....it can be done with or without the package.

We usually just get there about an hour ahead, bring in hamburgers and eat in the stadium. You can buy drinks in the stadium to keep from spilling them on the walk up. I have never once waited in a line to get in - just walked up, parked the stroller and found a seat. Bear in mind, we usually go February, October, and early December.

The only exception was in May last year. We were running late, only got there 45 minutes early, and they already had standing room only. The show was still great - just had sore backs from holding the kids.
