Question for the Podcast Team

As I was listening to the podcast concerning the changes to Main Street Bakery, I found myself truly curious as to what the other podcast team members do when Pete goes on a rant.

So, what do you guys do when you know a long one is coming? Grab a cup of coffee? Make Flatties?

I'm not a member of the podcast team, but thought I'd share how I see it. Honestly, I don't think what has been dubbed a "rant" is any different from normal conversations among friends when some have opposing sides. What do you do in that situation? You either participate or listen.

Heh. It also reminds me of good ole Italian Sunday dinner conversation.

Exactly, so what do they DO while listening? Bring out the crochet? Doodle? Polish the silver?

I guess I'll have to send a flattie to the podcast to check it out for me!

They are kind of a captive audience during the taping. The "studio" is pretty small and its difficult for any of the participants to leave the table without making extraneous noise. They are also expected to add their $0.02 to the conversation so they need to listen so that they can frame their comments/disagreements.
