For those of you who are well endowed in the chest area.
HOW do you wear a halter top? Where do you find a bra that will work with them?

I don't wear one....are you supposed to? :confused3

I don't. I prefer the way I look in other types of tops.

Yup, basically I don't wear them. I prefer a deep v-neck. ;)

If I had to wear one, there are strapless bras with convertible/removable straps.

You can get bras that convert to halter bras. Also, some halters are cut such that you could wear a strapless bra. I need a lot of support b/c I grow straight out vs nice and rounded, and my breasts are very heavy! I can wear a strapless as long as the top I am wearing it with is close fitting enough to help keep the bra in place!

I don't wear them. Halter straps don't support my chest enough and i need all the support I can get.

From my personal experience, IMHO, you just don't. From what I've seen, very few ladies with bigger chests look good in a halter top, unless they are going for a certain look.
Halter tops normally aren't made to offer the support and coverage that's needed.
Of course there are always exceptions. Good luck :)

why don't you throw caution to the wind and get a tube top? :flower:

Don't do it. We don't want to frighten young children. That goes for halter tops, too!

Try a convertible bra (one that converts to halter or criss/cross). However, if you are over a C cup, it may not give you the support you need.

I don't. Strapless bras don't give enough support IMO.

This reminds me of a phrase that a friend and I use CONSTANTLY when we're talking about clothes...

"Just because you CAN...doesn't mean you SHOULD!" :)

Last time I wore a halter top, I was 13. There are some things that you just SHOULDN'T wear.

Don't Do It. Otherwise, you run the risk of someone at Cosmo taking your picture walking down the street and it being used in that Fashion Don't page.

I am a firm believer in built in bras. You know, the tank tops that their is a sports bra type thing built inside. Not super lots of support, but it does the job nicely. Also, i layer tank tops. Two built in bras does wonders. I just got this tank top, and not only does it have a built in shelf bra, it also has like padding. indestructible. i love it.

I love to wear halter tops in the summer and I wear them all the time. I am not well endowed, however. :teeth:

I just don't wear them at all.
I wear ones that are more flattering on me. Besides seeing me in a halter top with my big ones would be down right scary! :earseek:
