I read somewhere that you can get a Fast Pass for the autographs at Star Wars weekend. Where do you go to get the Fast Pass? I would imagine these go very quickly. If we get there before opening, how long do you think the time will be to return with your Fast Pass? Who is usually there for the autographs. Are they the normal Star Wars characters (Luke, Chewobaka, CP3O, etc)? We will be there on Memorial day weekend and I know it will be mobbed so want to get a heads up before we go.

Thanks :Pinkbounc

I would love to hear about this as well. I will be there working during the weekends and if I get one of the days off I would love to be able to attend some of the festivities.

The FastPasses for the celebrity autographs are at the Who Wants to be a Millionaire attraction. You can get one FastPass for an autograph and one standby FastPass per ticket. The standby is for the other celebrity that is attending and is used if that person has time during his/her autograph session and all of the people with original FP's run out. There are three time slots per day to get autographs. If getting celebrity autographs is your priortiy, you should head to Who Wants to be a Millionaire immediately after the rope drop. We are going for the first Star Wars Weekend. Hope to see you there! By the way, these FP'swill not interfere with any of the FP's to the rides. May the force be with you!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Laura's Dad. I knew about the WWTBAM FP but I didn't know that it would NOT interfere with getting a FP for other attractions. Thanks for the tip!!!

Thank you for the information! This will be our first attempt at SWW and it's just the info I was looking for:) We're hoping to meet Chewy in 2 weeks!

Thanks for the info, that was one of the many worries floating around in my head last night while I tried to sleep!

Are the fp's to meet the actual actors? Are there Chewbaca's and others around that you don't have to fp to get autographs?

Another ? - where do you get Star War pins, are they only available at one location?

Thanks for the help!!

We have only had luck finding the Stars Wars pins at Tatooine Traders at the end of the Stars Tours attraction. My step dad also said he got some in EPCOT, but I don't know which store.

The fast passes are ONLY for actors, not for the characters. (these people are not in costume - when I was there last year, the guy that played Chewbacca was there along with one of the Trade Federation head guys). You will find regular characters willing to do pictures and or autographs all over the park, but mostly seem to be in two areas. One is by Star Tours and Tantooine Traders. In this general area, there were 3 or 4 fixed signing posts (popular characters like Jedi {had my picture made with Mace and Kit Fisto}, Chewy, Boba Fett, Ewoks, etc.) Also down the way towards WWTBAM, we had our picture taken with Clone Troopers, an ARC Trooper, Princess Amidala (who signed autographs), had Jawas wanting to trade a lunch box for my earings, etc. You will also have a chance to have your photo taken with Jedi Mickey in the normal place where Sorcerer's apprectice Mickey is posted at MGM.

If you like the characters, don't miss the Star Wars parade (different from the Stars and Cars parade) and make sure you hang out in those two general areas. So many other characters were simply roamining around. Several bounty hunters, both clone and storm troopers, a Gemorrian Guard, the cantina band was playing at times, Greedo, even the Emperor made his way through the crowds with his royal red guard.

They also do the Jedi Acadamy where younger children (up to 10-12 I would say) are picked from the crowd, taught a series of moves and then *que DV's theme* both Darth Maul and Darth Vader come out and each child gets to do those moves against one or the other (depending on if you are on the top stage or the bottom area for your training). The kids LOVED it.

There were Storm Troopers on top of the entrance to MGM and we had the thrill of my young son's life when one came down off a lift as we stood there watching and came over and stared my son (who was brandishing his Jango gun) down for about 30 seconds. He was totally enthralled!!!

It is an amazing site!
