Question for Regis & Kelly fans

Why is Kelly Ripa using crutches on the show this week? I assume that these were probably all filmed on one day, a week or more ago (since they've been retrospectives). But she walks out, using cane crutches (and high heels!)

I think it's because of a stress fracture in her hip. I agree, the high heels are ridiculous.

Yup, stress fracture in the hip. I'm thinking all those years of running miles and then wearing those spiky high heels must have contributed!
