Question for pin traders

This will be my first time pin trading at Disney. I was wondering how many should I have that I want to trade. Right now I have 26 I would like to trade at the parks. But is this enough......How many have you traded for in the parks at one time? We will be staying on property and at the parks 3 days. I am just trying to decide whether to get some more cheap ones on ebay to trade at the parks. Please Help. We leave in less than two weeks!

It really depends on how much trading you want to do versus other things. That's an average of about 9 pins per day. If you just want to do casual trading, that may be enough.

DW Lauri and I once traded something like 60 pins in one hour, but that may be a bad example and definitely a rare occurrence. It was with another guest, someone who was visiting from Japan. She had a lot of Japanese pins we liked and we had a lot of US and Disney Store pins she liked.

Depends on how long you will be at WDW.
We use to go for a week and I would easily go through a few hundred CM pin trades.
I could often do 26 in one park one day. But it all just depends on what you collect, and etc.
Now as a local, I trade very little. Go figure.

There are CMs to trade with pretty much everywhere -- hotels, restaurants, Downtown Disney . . . pretty much anywhere on Disney property.

Depending on how hard you're looking, and how much ground you're travelling, you might have 25+ pin trading opportunities a day, but that doesn't mean you'll want to make a trade each time.

As to how many good pins are out there . . . I think everybody's waiting for the next wave of good pins on CM lanyards. Sounds like it's been slim pickins lately. But everybody's got different tastes, so your mileage may vary! Trade for what you like, and have fun with it.

I am looking so forward to this. I like the idea of trading, kinda like a scavenger hunt. I just don't want to end up with not enough to trade. What to do, what to do................
