Question for anyone else in the UK who received "the" email last night and is going to accept the 35% discount and still travel, which is our plan. I have logged into my account now and "accepted" the changes, but my balance is still the same, without the 35% discount. Anyone else had this? I'm wondering if they send a new invoice once you have accepted the changes?

I've apparently heard that they'll send an updated invoice in the next week or so

I don't know if they'll have to manually apply the discount, so I'd assume the new invoice will come soon.

I'm curious to know if the 35% discount is offered if you want to report to 2021 too, or just for 2020 stays ?
(If the offer is valid for 2021, maybe I'll try to ask for the same discount as no offer at all were made for stays canceled sooner in may)

It’s just in bookings up to 3 October 2020 that include free dining I’m afraid

OK, thanks (I know it was for stays with the free dining, my canceled stay was with free dining too and it's really frustrating to have no offer for 2021 and resort and ticket prices between 15 et 20% more expensive. :/

I’m with you. My same holiday is some £3k more money. Well it was this afternoon, the prices seem to have now been reduced and it’s ‘only’ about £1.6k more, I might live with that if I can secure it in the morning.

If I have to end up cancelling I'm looking at going at a cheaper time. I looked at going at the same time next year, but, it was £1100 more, one person only the hotel and park hopper (Pop Century) so I looked at going in late October and doing both Halloween and Christmas, which is £500 more or closer to Christmas for the same or early February 2021 for just over £100 more. Doing the same time next year includes the start of the 50th Anniversary celebrations, so that explains why it is unusually expensive then.

It took them 5 days to readjust the invoice for us with the discount showing if that helps.
