Question for past winners of VMK contests

I was just wondering. How were you notified that you won? Was it in game by message, using your e-mail or did you just read it in the newsletter? Thanks!

I was lucky enough to be one of the winners in the Epitaph Contest. I found out by reading the newsletter and my prize just showed up in my inventory.

Same thing with song competition, notification was on newspage. In fact, I didn't know a thing about it until I started getting these messages in VMK "Congratulaitons and what did you win".
