I was thinking instead of asking for donations~ request a specific item(preferablly non perishable)and people will help. Or say " a nominal donation of a dollar or two would go a long way in covering the expenses"..If you leave a blank amount of a donation, people think you might want more than they are willing to donate..but if everyone would donate I think it might be better.MerryPoppins said:Sounds good.
My only thought is that you might want to say when you'd need the ingredients. I'd be tempted to say by Friday so you can go shopping over the weekend. Or you could ask them to circle the ingredients if they'd like to send any and return the note. That way you'll know what you still need to buy. Just a thought to help you out.![]()
