Question for my dd 11- Where can she leave a note?

Put the letter on green paper, and put it in a clear sandwich bag (waterproofing) and put it down inside of a bush, not on the ground since they will see it and not at the top of the bush because they'll see that too.

This way if they prune the bush it still will be ok and it will survive waterings.

I think this sounds like so much fun. Im wierd like that though.

Actually though it sounds like they would inspect every place. Im sure you could find a place.

what a great idea!!!!! I love the thought of nooks and crannies in disney world, but to hid a note for someone is even cooler. I think any of the more complicated queues (test track) provide a good hiding spot. Maybe even the kids playground under the frontierland station. I don't know, but it sounds fun. I think when I visit in June, I'm going to place something hidden in one of the parks and see if it is still there at the end of my trip.

I find both ideas intriguing - the hidden note/scavenger hunt and leaving a note at the desk. First of all, at her age she will feel special that she has received a "message" at her hotel and that will be a sure thing and it will give her that feeling of specialness to begin her vacation of "magic." The note could be a "treasure" chest map with codes and hints of where to find the other note or "buried" treasure. But I would be very careful about the placement and it might be a good idea to do a test run at the beginning of your stay and see if it is still there when you leave.

I've left pennies in the queue of ToT. They've only lasted a few days though.

Go to the hardware store and get a few hid a keys. I think you could conceal things on the back/bottom of metal. Or make your own from magnets and some of the odder shaped Altoid tins.

A few years ago friends and I did exactly what you would like to do. They stayed at SSR about 3 weeks before we arrived. They left 3 notes thru out the resort inside of ziploc bags. When they got home they emailed me photos of clues as to where I may find the notes. Believe it or not we found 2 out of 3 notes and they withstood 2 hurricanes. They left one behind a sign at the walkway by the water and one behind a mirror in the hallway across from the elevators in a building. It was a lot of fun looking for them. Good luck to you.

Those are some really good ideas! Thanks!
