Question for Intimate brides...

Okay, so I'm pretty sure things are different now, but when we were planning our intimate last May we were told add-ons (characters, car, MK photo shoot) were added on to your hotel bill and were paid along with your resort stay. Have things changed? Will the add-ons just be included in our package that we pay 30 days in advance (if that is still how it's done )

Hi Ashley.
It is my understanding that it is added on to your Wedding Package that they link to your hotel reservations, and that you pay the Wedding Package and add ons I think 30 days before your wedding. Your deposit should also be on the bill as well. Some one please correct me if I am wrong.

I just booked my intimate wedding for July 25th, 2006 and I had to do my hotel reservation seperate. I had to book my hotel and put a deposit on that before I could go ahead with the wedding part. Now I just put my $500 down on the wedding. Things are different this year because I was going to do my wedding last summer and everything was grouped together. So the answer to your question.. is yes it is due 30 days before.

We were told the same thing last February, but it didn't work out that way. The only extras we had were the custom cake, the favors, additional bouts, coursage, MOH's 3-rose wand, and a single rose for my mom's remembrance vase. These were all charged on the 30-day invoice. So we paid up-front. I don't know why they changed it? Maybe it's easier that way than to deal with each individual resort?
