Question for glasses wearers

So, for people who wear glasses, how do you handle shows or rides that require 3D glasses?
Do you just take your glasses off and watch the show blindly? Do you overlay the 3D pair over your real glasses?
I don't have contacts but I found some weird clip-on thing for glasses that help them see 3D movies but I'm not sure if it would work in any Disney attractions...

I wear the 3D glasses over my regular glasses. The only ride where I didn’t do that was Flight of Passage. The 3D glasses were very loose (though I’ve read that they now have smaller ones) and the ride has a lot of motion. I just went blindly, and I think it was a good decision.

I wear them over my glasses, including on Flight of Passage. What’s the point if you can’t see?
I did hold the FoP glasses on with one hand, otherwise they slip.

my twin boys both have glasses so they will put them on over their glasses -- they are pretty blind without their glasses. If you only have mild vision impairment then you might be able to get away with just the 3D glasses.

As for FOP, I have read that the glasses have changed....but reports are mixed. I bought some simple hairbands to use to hold them on if needed...I am planning to wear the FOP glasses over my regular glasses.

I wore the 3D glasses over my glasses. Absolutely no problems on any rides!

Glad to see I wasn't the only one having issues on FOP. Was a little difficult holding onto the glasses the whole time, but they did feel really loose. I am near-sighted so I always prefer to put the 3D ones over top of my personal ones.

Over my glasses - would be useless to not wear my glasses - that's why I wear them to begin with!! :-)

as I said earlier I put on over my glasses if I don't I would close the ride down if you get what I mean. cant wait to do Disney rides again since my eye surgery and not having to wear glasses

Over my glasses.
The Dis has come to a consensus - that almost never happens! :rotfl:

Over my glasses. I wear a glasses strap at WDW, and for 3D I use the strap to hold my glasses tight to my face, which makes it easier for the 3D glasses to stay in place over them.

I wear them over my glasses. We just got back from WDW on Thursday and I didn’t have any troubles with any of the 3D glasses, including FOP. They all were fine over my glasses.

overlay. they are large enough to handle that and would be pretty worthless if they did not
