Question for first class flyers

Oh yeah, and those first class suites on Emirates? Awesome. :)

amazing!! I mean business class in emirates equates to many other airlines first class in terms of seat size, lie-flats, service and entertainment, lounges etc .... but those suites - they are incredible! To be honest I thought for what we paid business class was excellent and worth it ..... would double the cost and pay another $7000 per seat for the suites ... err no, but then I do have a budget which is what I expect fare paying FC passengers dont.

My dad was a BA 747 skipper and we always held them as the industry standard for luxury travel, but those days have ended, these guys are topping that and some.

I think most people don't actually pay for first class. They use miles or get upgraded.

Trust me many company pay for biz/first class.

Per my firm's policy:
-Trans-Atlantic or Trans-Pac flight ALL employees my fly international Biz class. (similar to the Emirate biz photos posted prior)
-If flying greater than 1,200 miles domestically an employee may book domestic F on a two class plane or business class on a three class plane.

from what I know its about a 50/50 split on the UK airlines between fare payers and mileage/ID90/staff/upgrades .... US may be more generous with their upgrades.

our company insists on business class travel for when the dh travels more than 3 hours, and I know plenty who pay for first class travel for many of their employees, especially out on the Duabi/Middle East routes , and the employees can bag the miles .... sweet.

Let me rephrase. Most people do not pay first class in cash out of their pockets. Miles, status or employer pays.
