More specifically, da mommies on this board.
Brian will be 4 months old on September 6th.
Since he's been born, I've had my period twice. Both times it was normal for a week, stopped and then came back a week later for a week.
I'm going to call my Dr. today but any ideas on what this might be? Should I be worried?

What a coincidence. Kylie will turn 4 months on Sept. 5. I haven't even gotten a period at all yet and I am bottle-feeding. I called my dr. about 6 weeks ago and they had me come in and take a preg. test. Then, I had to take another one a few weeks later. I knew I wasn't preg. but they wanted to rule it out as a precaution. They started me back on bc pills after the last preg. test and said it should regulate my period soon. I am currently on the last week of the first pack and have spotted just a tiny bit but haven't actually started yet. I am hoping everything will get back on track by the end of next month's pack.

Your situation is a bit different though. Are you on any type of bc pill? If not, maybe your period would regulate better if you were put on one. If you are concerned you should definitely call your dr. It may be nothing to worry about but better safe than sorry! Good luck!

ETA: Well, just thought I would add that I have in fact started my period (finally) now! Started a few hours after I posted this.

I had a similar experience after the birth of both of my DDs. Nothing came of it, and my periods eventually went back on schedule. But if you are worried maybe you should consult with your dr.
PD you way. Congrats on your miracle!

Oh how rude of me. Congrats on your miracle too Tasha. Children are such a blessing.
