Question for CP Alums

Question for all you people who have completed the CP program. My girlfriend is currently doing her CP and she is there till August. I'm planning fall advantage from June to December. I'm trying to get her to extend her program till December. Does anyone know how that works? If she gets denied for an extension, is there a way for her to do the college program again in August? I'm guessing she would have to enroll in a class this semester for that to happen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Towards the end of the CP, they send out an e-mail regarding applying for extensions. As long as she is in good standing with the company and has a good rep with her managers, it shouldn't be too hard for her to be accepted to extend. It also depends if she requests to stay at her same location or if she applies to switch locations, because they might not have room for her in a different location/role.

Yeah, I guess technically she would need to be enrolled in classes now in order to be eligible to apply for Fall. Her best bet would be to apply to extend.

Extension is becoming more and more popular, so depending on how well Disney Internships recruits will depend on how many spots they have to extend people. When I did the Spring Advantage 2010 program, I applied for extension to stay in my own location had 3 points no reprimands and couldn't extend. Actually the rumor was the only people who extended had no points at all, or passed entertainment extension auditions.

Just an FYI - the program you're planning for yourself ends in January, not December - you'll be there until the first or second week in January.
