Say, if a cat is declawed in the front and someone really pisses it off, could, or would it scratch you with it's back claws?
my cat forgets she's declawed too and like starts running and then she can't stop and runs into walls and whatnot

Well. my cat bear will get angry if you go near his nails, for fear of pain like the last time someone went near him.
I didn't get him de-clawed, we got him after.
He always smacks you. its hilarious. Its like a slap, it doesn't hurt, but it makes a loud noise. XD

Man, declawing cats is like the cruelest thing you could do to an animal (Besides like abusing them)! I mean seriously it's like if someone were to laser your fingers off!
And I'm sure the cat would kick you if he/she got angry enough. My cat will kick when he's playing with his toys but he's not declawed.
And I know you didn't ask my opinion on declawing but if you're thinking of declawing your cat you shouldn't there's so much else you can do, like buy those claw caps or spray where your cat is scratching with vinegar (cats hate the smell).
And if you're just worried about your cat scratching you, don't because cats don't usually scratch unless you make them mad (just don't make them angry!), and even when they do it doesn't hurt and I've never heard of anyone getting an infected cat scratch.

Technically, the cat would only claw him if he had the cat on its back (his hand on its stomach) and it did a death claw. (where the cat squeezes with its front feet and then claws with its back. used to kill birds and stuff like that)I know declawing cats is cruel.
I don't own a cat, and I probably won't for a long time (my mother is allergic to cats).
It's just, my friend, he claims that he doesn't cut himself (he has cuts all the way up his arm) and says his cat did it. When I found out from another friend that his cat is declawed, I asked him about it. He said that cat was only declawed in the front and would attack him with his hind legs. He claims it's a vicious beast that hates him.
That is why I was asking.
