Question for Boston area DISers

Does anyone know how I could find out about shuttle information from South Station to Logan? A friend's son is flying to Europe on Monday, and he's thinking of bussing it from western Ma. to South Station and then catching a shuttle to Logan. Any ideas where to find this info?

Getting to Logan

There's no DIRECT connection between S.Station and Logan. You can take the subway, but it's a hassle with a couple of transfers. The Water Shuttle leaves from Rowes Wharf, which is at least a 1/2 mile walk from S.Station.

I'd take a cab to either Logan directly OR to Rowes Wharf.

My pleasure. BTW, I spent an hour this morning in my son's KINDERGARTEN class (Newton area) as a "parental aide". I had to be reminded by the teacher, who is a sweetheart, that I was there to WORK and not PLAY ..............

You can also go to Logan Express in Natick right off the highway and it takes you to gan...also a good alternative if coming from the West.

Logan Express also runs from Framingham (off exit 13 Mass Pike) right to Logan, very easy and inexpensive.

Where in Western Mass is he coming from?
He can take the bus all the way into The bus terminal on Peter Pan then transfer to Concord Trailways , Bonanza or Plymouth and Brockton (P+B for short) also as they have runs that go to the airport from South Station.
Its possible that he might be able to get his fare included to the airport at time of purchase saving a trip to the purchase another ticket. Just go from one gate to another!

If Boo's mom see this she might be able to give more info too from her bus days!!
