Question for BCV owners?

If you own at BCV, where do you USUALLY book?

We bought at the BCV because of the location. We have no plans to stay at any of the other DVC properties. The Grand Floridian is the only other resort of interest to us though we have not stayed there since buying at the BCV.

We love our home, but are pleased with the flexibility. We have yet to stay at any other DVC resorts, but will have one night at OKW in June, tacked on the end of a stay, since we could get better airfare leaving a day later. So I am interested in checking in out.

I think at some point I would like to try out Hilton Head and Vero Beach, have no desire to hit BWV and am up in the air about the VWL. Diane, I just get the impression that VWL is so like MN that I won't feel like I am in FL if I stay there. But who knows? Maybe when the opportunity presents itself, we might mosey over that way.

LOL! That is what we thought too, and the embiance isn't so important to us, since we LIVE in a big log house!

We tend to book last minute (within 2 months) trips and although BCV would be my first choice, sometimes I had to go somewhere else. Luckily I like all the resorts I've been to!

We've been to our BCV's 4 times now and absolutely love that resort and the whole Epcot area. But we are going to try out one of those spacious OKW 2-bedroom units over Memorial Day week. (mostly because it was the only thing available when I called yesterday). I'm looking forward to the peacefulness of this resort. I just need to decide if we need a car or should just use the bus transportation. I've never had to drive down there; it seems very busy, esp. the DTD area.

Do I REALLY even have to answer this one??!! I'm sure EVERYONE knows how I feel.

I bought BWV, VWL and OKW because I didn't think I would like BCV...well, we went to WDW and fell in love with it!!! I plan on staying entirely at BCV when I am lucky enough to get reservations there.

We went in Dec, and stayed at BWV and VWL. We are going in April and staying at OKW (only thing available...although, I AM looking forward to it). We are going in May and staying offsite Can you believe that??!!! We are chaperoning a group of high school kids, so I have to stay with them. But, I am "putting my parents up" at a DVC resort....and, of COURSE...they got BCV!!!! I cannot believe they get to stay there before I do!!! But, they are going to take care of my dd for a few days...so, they will have the benefit of SAB...and, at least I will get to see the inside of a BCV room....FINALLY!!!

I just made my Dec. ressies for a 2 bdrm at BCV...I am SOOOO excited!!!! I hope it will be the first of MANY trips to BCV....my "home"....FINALLY!!!!!

Just like Beca, I don't think anyone really needs me to respond to this one. We own all of our points at BCV and only wish to stay at BCV with the exception of this trip where we are staying in a GV at BWV. The sad part is that I am having major regrets that I won't be at BCV. I am sure as soon as I walk in that GV I will be fine, but you better beleive I will be over to visit Cape May Cafe and Beaches and Creme and all my friends over at the BC.

..................there are choices. All of our DVC points are BCV points. We have BCV points because we love the resort. We've had point for 3 years now and I guess we've had about 10 trips using our points. To date all but two of the trips have been to BCV. We stayed at WLV and BWV but so far we still absolutely prefer BCV. I expect that at some point we will stay at each of the other DVC properties but it's doubtful that we will change our minds about BCV. Isn't it nice that members have so many choices?

All our points are at BCV. All but once, we have stayed at our home resort (on points). One time, last year, we spent two weeks at BWV. My husband likes to have access to the BW, but not stay there. We love the access to Epcot, MGM and the Boardwalk. We have also, prior the joining DVC, payed cash and stayed at BW & WLV. (I wish I knew about renting then) I want to try OKW, but my husband just likes BCV. He says OKW is too far from anything. He likes the WLV, but it is only close to MK. I think when we get older, we will consider the other resorts. We are just starting to not park hop and enjoy what the resorts have to offer.

I voted for "Stay Mostly at BCV", but our DVC stays seem to be spreading out a little bit. We have owned at BCV for a little less than three years, and have stayed at BCV twice, HH once and SSR once. Our next stay will be at HH again late this summer, and after that probably BCV in the spring. We will most likely stay at all of the DVC resorts at one time or another.

We go twice a year (May & December). We always stay at the BCV in December, it is beautiful at that time of year. May is our time to visit the other DVC resorts. This may will be our 2nd time at the OKW, next May we plan on SSR.

We usually have a car at OKW, but it is mostly for getting to and from the airport, grocery store and other resorts for dinner. We never drive to the parks because it is so much easier to take the bus and be dropped right off at the entrance rather than having to ferry in from the parking lot. The only place where a car is a plus for parks is if you are going to Animal Kingdom early in the morning.

We bought at BCV because we love everything about that resort - the location, near our favorite park, and the decor. We may try another place one of these years, but for now, we are happy with our "home"!

It's mildly interesting that more BCV respondants are saying they stay at BWV. I suspect it is because it is in the same general area.

I have most of my points at OKW. However, I bought some BCV points just for BCV since I felt that it was going to be hard to get. I like being able to book my annual Food and Wine Festival visit there (and just stagger home)

We purchased Beach Club Villas (BCV) in March 2002, while it was under construction. We have really mixed our stays.

We have stayed at BCV twice. We have also stayed at Old Key West & Saratoga Springs. We loved all of them.

Heading to Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort for our first trip to that DVC location. We're staying May 21-28. Might do Vero Beach next year.
