Question for anyone who got the birthday ticket

I am a tried and true WDW veteran but am planning my first DLP with 3 grandchildren (14,13,12) in the first week of November

The cheapest tickets I have been able to find so far are about 55 Euro (43 Pound) for one day/ two park. We plan on being there for 2 days

I do not understand the above post of an AP for 45 Euro Is this available to all? How do I get it? Is it a closed audience offer? Any information about this or any other way to get cheap tickets would be appreciated

It's an offer that is available to people going with the birthday ticket

You can get a free entrance ticket valuable for entry on your birthday or one day within the 7 days following it.

With the entrance you have the possibilty of buying a Francilien AP for 45€.

Concerning tickets in general you can only purchase them for upto the 7th of Nov as the new prices come in on the 8th

What dates exactly are you looking at ?

we are looking at the Nov 6 and 7 No one in our party has a birthday then.

Because of the price change on the 8th do you think that there will be heavy crowds on my days?

Do you know of cheaper tickets thatn 53 Euro?

Thanks

Thanks for your help on both threads Carrie! I have to weigh consecutive days with skipping two days with the AP. It's good to know that my DD can get the free birthday ticket up to 7 days after her birthday. If we don't go with the AP I assume that can we upgrade her to a 2 day 2 park pass if we want to go consecutive days.

Not sure what you mean by upgrade in this context sorry :confused3

She gets a free day with the b'day ticket and then would have to buy a Francilien ticket like yourselfs on the 2nd day if you were going on consecutive days

The b'day ticket doesn't give any further rights or special offers besides the 45€ AP and the 20% off in one of the 3 restaurants :)

Hi,
Sorry to hijack this thread!Been absorbing all the useful information so far and never had the need to ask anything until now!! I'm going to dlp on the 26th & 27th aug with sky tickets. There's 2 adults & 2 children. My OH now wants to spend 28th at dlp (im not complaining!!) so have been looking at fnac & ticketnet.fr for cheap tickets. Have noticed this thread and my OH's birthday is on the 20th (managed to get the birthday voucher) so thinking as we arrive on 25th aug he can pop over with his free birthday ticket, upgrade to the francilien passport and then on the 28th aug he can get us in for 20 euros each. Is this correct?? just want somebody to confirm for me as don't want to get there & realise I got it all wrong & then have to fork out the at the gate prices!!
Thanks in advance!!:thumbsup2

Thanks Carrie_Cat!! :thumbsup2 I was hoping to get your expert advice on this as you're in the know!! You know when you think you got it right in your head but just wanted to make double sure! My OH has left me in charge of planning this trip and it's his first time to dlp so a lot of pressure on me!:scared1:
