1) we like to travel other places, and not just time shares. i know you can use points at other places, but we decided we didn't want to be tied down.
2) we decided we liked staying at a hotel better than at a condo. condos to us don't feel like a vacation.
3) there are only two of us right now, and we decided we didn't need the extra space that dvc offers.
4) we can usually get cheaper hotel rates with discounts than what you pay for dvc.
