Question for all the ladies with Kate Spade bags???

OK...I took the plunge and ordered my first handbag and wallet. They came yesterday. They are beautiful! But while I was checking them over, I noticed that the "Kate Spade New York" was just stamped on the front of the handbag and wallet. The wallet is a little deeper in the leather. I was just wondering if any of you have this on your bags and has it ever won off with use? This is a bag I'll wear on my shoulder, so the outside will rub against my body, arm or coat.
All my other bags are Dooney and they use brass on their bags so I have never had anything like this before.

I have a KS. My logo is sewn on with a little patch, not stamped. I'd call the customer service number on your registration card and ask. I'm sure they guarentee their bags for a period of time, too. So if you ever have a problem you can send it back for repair or replacement. But, I'd diffently call and speak with customer service.

That's the other thing. There was no registration card. All my dooney's came with a registration card and they had serial numbers. This does not. I ordered it online directly from her website.

I have a kate spade leather wallet that is stamped in gold. I recieved it 3 years ago as a birthday present. It is sort of worn looking, but it's all still there--I don't know about a handbag though!

She stamps her bags so no worries there. I'm not sure if they come with a serial number or not though. I've never seen one in the stores with it. I'm getting my first real one for christmas so after that I can help more. I haven't seen one where the stamp has rubbed off so I don't think that should be too much of a concern.

I'm not sure KS bags are serial number worthy, meaning they are moderately priced bags. I have had a few and never had a registration card or serial number and would be very suprised to see one on a bag with its price point.

I have a black leather Kate Spade bag and "Kate Spade New York" is stamped into the side/top of the bag. It doesn't include any color that could rub off, it's like someone "branded" the bag and left a permenent imprint of her logo. I've had the bag 2+ years, wear it everyday, and it's still as clear as the first day I got it.
