Question for Aldi shoppers

It is that time of year again and I am on the hunt for pretzel rings. Aldi is the only store in my area that carries them and I looked tonight but nothing in the store. Has anyone seen them in your local stores? I am just trying to figure out if I am too late or too early to get them.

If Rold Gold or Snyders made these dang things it would make my life easier.

I bought a bag about a month ago. I am sure they are gone b/c they are a seasonal item and they only get so much in.

At my Aldi they are already on clearance. They are in the aisle with all the other seasonal food stuff...not by the rest of the pretzels.

What are these things and should I be buying them?
They are pretzels in the shape of a ring. I am a bit surprised people aren't familiar with them. :) We use them to make Christmas candy. We melt a hershey's kiss in the middle of the ring and press a M nM into the melted chocolate.

I like the addition of the sprinkles. I may try that this year. I have better luck melting Hershey Hugs than solid chocolate. I can't get the temperature/timing right. I think the cooking term is that the chocolate is seizing. Please share if anyone has a temperature/time that works on solid chocolate kisses.

I finally found them today after looking at three other Aldis that were sold out. I think I will put in requests at our local Walmart and Publix that they start carrying these around the holidays. It probably won't do any good but I can try.

They have a bunch on Amazon. Newman's Own, Wege, Wylde were the brands I saw.
I thought about ordering some from a vendor selling Old Dutch but the shipping was more than the pretzels and I just couldn't do it. There were also packages that made you buy them with candy that I didn't want or need.

Pretty sure at least some of them on Amazon were on Prime (free two day shipping if you have Prime).

I don't have Prime, maybe I should look into it. I am good for at least this year. I just had to drive to an Aldi across town.

Glad you got some! Although now I want some of those pretzel chocolate treats!!
