Question for Alabama Dis'ers!

You eat and drive on 280?! :scared1:

My friend who is a die hard LSU fan from Baton Rouge met me in T-town and she had to eat at the orginial Dreamland. I swear that it is the orginial rib shack. I like Jim & Nic's better.

We don't have a Milo's here, so I swing by Gardendale's on my way back north to get their tea.

I do have to agree here, we got a Dreamland here in town finally, but I wasn't impressed with it. However, those little corn muffins at Jim & Nic's are wonderful! I try to always take a bunch home for later. lol
Now some of the best barbeque ribs are at a place in Tallassee, just as you turn off to go to Lake Martin. The one with the really BIG pig outside, Johnnie Gs (finally remembered the name). lol Those are some good ribs!;)

We're in Columbus GA now, our BBQ is pretty limited. :( We love the Dreamland sauce, the ribs were okay. I personally love Jim & Nicks, we even thought the one at Baytowne Wharf (Sandestin) was good). OMG< I had forgotten about dipping the fries in Milo's sauce! For the record, I ate and drove on 280 in the 90s

Bob Sykes in Bessemer has the best ribs around, but I'm not wild about their sauce.
