Question for a CM...

We had a new employee start today where I work and the newbie is an ex-Disney employee. When this newbie and her trainer were walking down the hall, she looked in my Disney decorated office and told her trainer that I am a "Disneyoid". Not that I care what she thinks about my office (or anything else), but is this really what CMs refer to Disney-lovers as? I'm just curious.

I've heard it as Disnoid. CM's, I guess anyone who eats, drinks, and sleeps Disney. That's my understanding. DD was a CM though, and she never heard the term.

Never heard of it I'd refer to that as Disney Nut, but I don't think there is an "official" term we use.

I was a CM back in the late 90's (would love to be again) and have many CM friends...never heard it but have to agree with diznygirl and add this with her "attitude" (who does this ??! especially being new)
she can call you anything she wants but her mouth could probably have her being called "unemployed"

Unless it was said in a derrogatory manner, I don't see it as mouthing off. I've never heard the term Disneyoid, but I would assume it's someone who loves Disney. It's safe to assume that OP loves Disney.

Thank you for the answers. I was just curious about it and knew this would be the place to ask. I really don't care what I'm called, but you know the old saying-don't mess with my kids, money, or my Disney.

I think the mouthy part is right! I have yet to hear anyone here (well, except for two "bosses" say anything good about the newbie. I guess we'll have to see. The newbie did say yesterday that this is just too much work for one person to be learning.

I also have never heard of that term.
I however am an admitted Disneyholic and never going to do any 12 step program unless it consists of 12 days at WDW and lots of steps around EPCOT.

That's like the Hardee's commercial where the two receptionists are all rolling their eyes and annoyed by the phones that keep ringing while they're trying to sit and enjoy their hand-breaded chicken and the announcer says, "You don't have to work hard...to appreciate hard work."

I would like to sign up for this program. I'm sure DH would agree that I need a 12 step program!
