Question @DDE & The Spirit of Aloha Show

I just booked an ADR for the 8 oclock show for the Spirit of Aloha Show at the Polynesian. You have to give your credit card and pay the full payment up front, but my question is, how do you get your 20% DDE credit? I had mentioned in conversation with the cast member that I had the DDE, because he asked me several times if we were on the Dining Plan and I said no. Has anyone else been in this situation and what did you do? Thanks!

I don't know that this helps, but I will mention what happened with us --
I booked last May for the luau in August. We have WDW PAPs, DDE and I am a WDW CM.
When I booked, I let the CM I was speaking to know, and said it really did not matter to me which discount I received.
I was booked under the Cast discount, which is the same as the DDE.
I was never told I could not use any other discount except the Cast. I think they just picked that one and used it.
At the time of booking over the phone I paid the amount less the discount. And our tickets refelcted exactly what I had paid when I picked them up that night.
So from my experience, I received the discount right up front.
