Question concerning AP?

I just read that sometimes AP discounts are not valid for check-in on a Saturday. We usually travel Saturday to Saturday to WDW. This of course involves purchasing airline tickets. If I take advice from everyone and book room only in October and wait as time gets closer for discount codes and modify my resort stay depending on what discount is being offered during that time. What happens if we already have our airline tickets and we find out the discount is not good on a saturday?

We checked in on a Saturday in December and had our discount. Perhaps some holiday weekends have the Saturday as not valid?

If the discount is not valid on a Saturday, you could always make two reservations--one for rack rate for Saturday, and one for the rest of your trip at the discount if available. If that happens, just make sure you have CRO make a notation that it's a continuing reservation to decrease your chance of haing to switch rooms.
