I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question, but here goes. Why do some restaurants only seem to have ADRs for 2? I've noticed this especially at Akershus and Beaches and Cream. I've also seen it at Mama Melrose. I don't understand the reason for this. The same size table is used for either 1 or 2 diners. And if it's by head count, I'd think a single diner would offset a table for 3 better than 2 diners would. I hate having to get an ADR for 2 just so I can eat at Akershus or Beaches and Cream. I know I don't have to pay anything for the 'second' person, but I hate having to say "It's just me" every time they call me back. It's not a big deal, I guess I'm just more curious than anything.
