Question because I'm NOT doing free dining

We are taking our trip to WDW the end of Oct and are staying at the Swan and Dolphin...therefore we are not on the dining plan. I'm fine with this, but I'm wondering...will the lines at the CS food places be ridiculous? I had my ADR's at the 180 mark so no problems there, but with two little kids, I'm worried it will be crazy to get our CS food when we are in the parks. Anybody had experience with this? Thanks :yay:

We have always gone in Sept, the last two times during free dining and we have not had any problem standing in lines at CS. I need to mention this was before they offered the QS free so that may make a difference. There are quite a few CS between the parks and resorts so I really don't believe you will have problems with the lines.

No matter what time of the year the CS are busiest between 12-2 and 5-7.
We always try to do an early lunch between 11 - 11:30 to avoid heavy crowds and it seems to work well at all the parks.
Check the park guides and try to hit you CS lunch right when the place first opens for lunch.

I have been to wdw during free dining for the past 5 years and have never noticed the CS to be any busier then usual. If you go to Cosmic Rays in MK at noon on any day it will be busy, free dining or no free dining.
