Question - ASMu Fam. Suite or AKL?

I'm an obsessive vacation planner. we've already booked our 1/6 - 1/12 Disney Vacation at ASMu in a Family Suite, I wanted a suite because whenever we travel with our daughter, 4, she just sleeps better in a seperate room. However, I'm just now looking on WDW site and we can get a pool view room at AKL for $100 more than the ASMu suite. Granted - she's be sleeping in the same room as us, but is it worth it to upgrade a bit?

Yes i say go for it!!!!
Also you will have a balcony so you could sit out there when she is falling asleep.
We love this resort!!!

I love having the extra room at the Family Suites. The extra room is more important to me.
That said, if you decide to upgrade please make sure your ressie for the new resort is final before you give up the Family Suite.
The Family Suites really book up fast and if you let the ressie go you may not be able to book it again at a later date.

I'd definetly switch from ASMu to AKL in a heartbeat. Instead of pool view i'd opt for standard room view if available. It would save you more money while upgrading from ASMu and i don't see the purpose of a pool view unless you're some teen looking on checking out the chicks.

we actually liked the pool view since we would sit out on the balcony and enjoy and noise and kids having fun. Better than sitting out and staring at the parking lot. (for us anyway). Both are relatively close to everything such as the gift shop, Mara etc....
