Does anyone know if you can get a veggie burger at Yak and Yeti? (TS, not CS)

I'm really interested in checking out this TS for our next trip, but I know DH won't eat anything on the menu (at least the menu I found on allears.net).

I saw in the food photo threat that someone had got a hamburger and fries at Yak and Yeti, and from our previous trips, I've drawn the conclusion that anywhere you can get a hamburger, you can almost always get a veggie burger. But I don't want to be 'that family' when/if we go.

I try to make ADRs that will be appropriate for both of us, but this has been on my 'to-eat!' list for so long that it's starting to make me cuckoo!

Disney dining is extremely good working with Guests with dietary restrictions due to allergies or other medical conditions. They will also provide Kosher meals with advance notice. Most places will have at least one vegetarian option.

But just not liking what is on the menu is going to be problematic. Usually they will try to work around something like subbing a starch or omitting sauces. But they can't give you something that they don't normally serve. They won't have it in their fridges, NWIM? If there is absolutely nothing on the menu that your DH will eat, then I suggest you look for a different restaurant.

This is why I started the thread. If they don't have it, I will just have to choose someplace else. We've eaten at most locations on property (with some exceptions, Y&Y being one of them) and he has been able to find something on each menu without having to ask for any exceptions.

If you can't go, I wouldn't call it that big of a deal. it really isn't that good, nor is it over the top themed like other landry's spots. I have been on two occasions rather spead out form one another and remain unimpressed. The takeout window gives bigger portions for smaller prices of the items that do overlap, btw.

I really disagree with Patsal on this one! I think the theming is AMAZING in the Yak & Yeti and I've loved everything I've ever eaten there. I'm having the salmon next trip! Wish you could come and drool i mean DINE along with me - (whispering - send dh to counterservice)

Not going to lie - I've had him do this before! :lmao:
We didn't make ADRs for our honeymoon, and wound up only being able to get a reservation at Teppan Edo. We ended up stopping at Sunshine Seasons beforehand, so he could eat (I don't remember what) and I got FILET and SCALLOPS! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm meat!

I kind of felt bad about it though, although he says it doesn't bother him.
