Hey...
For our January trip, we're cobbling together our passes. From what I understand, the few that we just ordered from AirMiles will be an exchange certificate, and so are the 25% off passes bought directly from the WDW site.
Since they give you a confirmation # to put in MDE, do we really have to go to guest services? Or can we just scan our bands and head on into the parks?

You will still need to go to guest services to show your identification to confirm that the tickets are actually being used by Canadians.

Thank you!
We actually are planning for breakfast on our first day at Chef Mickey's, so we can hit guest services then.
It's a bit of a pain in the rear, because some of our other tickets need days added, so we'll have to go twice. lol
Once before we enter, and then once after the first day in the parks.

According to comments on other threads that is a bit of an urban myth... you can add days, hopping ability or upgrade to AP before you enter a park. There has always been the thought that once you use your ticket you are "locking" the value of the ticket at current gate price but apparently you shouldn't need to do this extra step. I would simply try to do all of your ticket related activities at once, just make sure you know ahead of time what you think you should be paying for the upgrade and if the figure you're quoted is different ask why.
