Question about Wilderness Lodge?????

I am considering wilderness lodge for our vacation in Sept. We plan on spending alot of time at the resort and then going to the parks at 1-2 after lunch and having a nice sit down dinner whereever we go. My question, I know the MK is easily accessible with a boat that goes there. How would we get to the contemporary and polynesian and GF if we wanted to get to those hotels? The last time I was there I got stuck on the monorail and would rather not ride it. Is there ways to get to the hotels without using the monorail?

If I remember correctly, there is a boat that goes from the WL to the CR, but that's about it. You would still have to take the monorail to the GF and the Poly. Of course, you can always cab it if you need to....

Our last trip, we took one of the park buses directly to the GF. The WL and GF shared busses so we took the bus for Epcot (we asked the driver if he was going directly to the park or GF) and just got off at the GF.

Yes. There is a boat that circles CR - WL - FW. The direction that the boat travels changes. There is also a boat that goes MK - GF - Poly (in that order).

We've done that lots for meals. Boat to MK. then transfer to Poly/GF boat.
You can also get to CR by boat from WL. And catch the monorail from CR. It rarely gets stuck, really

We love doing the boat route as well. We are heading to WL for the 5 time this September. We love it there.

One thing to remember is that the Boat which goes to the Contemporary and Fort Wilderness operates everyday from 6:45 AM - 11:30 PM.

We have done the boats to both MK and then also to the Contemporary!
