Question about when Silver to Gold Benefits take effect

I’m Silver and booked a cruise for Summer 2021. After my next cruise I’ll be Gold, so if I take a cruise before the one I have booked for Summer 2021, will I get Gold benefits for that cruise (since then I’d be gold, even though booked when Silver)? Mostly thinking about the earlier booking window.

Know this is really specific... anyone have experience with this?

You become Gold once you complete your 5th cruise. It doesn't matter what order the cruises are booked in. It only matters when you take the cruise.

Is your "next cruise" the summer 2021 one? Or is there another one before that one?

You will get the Gold benefits after you've completed that cruise.

Confirming that booking doesn’t matter, only when you completed the cruise. We booked a cruise for a large family gathering, multiple birthdays and other to reasons everyone get together, a pretty long way out. That would have been our 15th cruise. We were able to squeeze in a short three day a few months before the big family cruise so we were platinum.

ETA - it really paid of as we had a large group on that family cruise and we were able to get the big, double family cabana on platinum day. Doubt we would have if we were still gold.

We had our 5th cruise booked and so were waiting for the silver window then booked a last minute cruise that ended the day before that window opened so didn’t get to benefit from our gold status after all for prebooking lol
