Question about Walmarts in Orlando

I was wondering if Walmarts in Orlando sell shorts year round?

DH is in need of shorts for our trip in Novmember and he wants to buy them when we get to Florida at the Walmart near our hotel.

Though I've never looked, it's a safe bet they do, since shorts are pretty much acceptable attire for year-round wear, down there...

probably, but i wouldn'y chance it. Touristy stuff like that is usually in big demand and selection could be very limited. I was very dissapointed with the apparel variety last time, the store was a mess and that was during the off season!

We had quite a bit of time in one of the Wal-Marts (waiting for dh to do something with pictures in the photographic dept) in mid-late September and I didn't see any shorts in men's - walked thru there looking for them for dh - hoping they'd be on sale.

I would imagine so. We had to buy oh some when we last went early march and they had quite a selection then.

Father-inlaw is there at the mo and they have them in now still.

Chances are good that he can find shorts in November. Have you thought about calling the Walmart near your hotel?

Otherwise, many other places have Men's shorts in stock in November.

I haven't stepped foot in our Wal-Marts here in Orlando in awhile, so I can honestly say I'm not sure.

Ours doesn't, but we're not in Orlando. Not sure if the ones in the tourist areas do or not.

I also visited the SuperWalmart second week of Sept and did'nt see any. I was suprised they had tons of long pants and fall like apparel in the clothing department. Kohls has some on clearence for a decent price.

Go to the VF Factory on 535... I've never seen a time when they didn't have men's shorts. And if you get the "imperfects", they're as cheap as 5$. I own several pairs of imperfects shorts and pants, and never found an issue with them.

It's about a block or two north of the Walmart, on the opposite side of the road, on 535.

I wouldnt hold my breath on that one! You would be surprised the "winter" clothes we have in South Florida. If we dont stock up on shorts at the beginning of the school year, by the winter months we can't find any. Its very frustrating!

We went last November and a bunch of my daughters clothes got left behind and we couldnt find any at those type of stores.........just the parks and other theme parks is what we had to buy from as believe it or not Walmart etc. had winter items in stock, i was in shock over that, but the locals said they do use them as they find it cold............

I convinced DH to buy them thru Walmart online.
He got the ones he wanted and he'll have them in plenty of time for our trip.

This is exactly what I was going to suggest. There are plenty of styles and size on the Wal Mart web site.
