Question about VWL

I know this has been asked before, but could not find the thread. We are going to make resses for two studios at VWL for this summer. I would like refresh my memory about what to ask for....I do not really want the "dumpster view", however, since we usually stay at our Home(OKW), I am not very familar with VWL rooms. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

You could request a pool view, definitely no dumpsters out there! Also, I do know all the odd numbered rooms look out the back of the villas, some with a pool view, all others with a woods view. When we made reservations, the CM was very nice about putting it down but reminded me it was only a request, not a guarantee. But we did end up with a beautiful pool view room.

Thank you for your reply. I thought that if we requested pool view it would safe and away from the dumpster view....however, I know it is only a request. Thought we would try ......hopefully we will get a nice view. I will not let it spoil my trip, but I do love to sit on my balcony.

Leaving in 10 days....can't wait!!! Staying at BCV and BWV until Jan. 4th!!!!! Want to stay at all of the vacation resorts....our home is OKW which we do LOVE!

You could also just request a room near the elevators...that could be on either side of the lodge, but gives them many more rooms to chose from, none of which have the dumpster view.

And if you like to sit on a balcony, you need to request a room above the first floor...the ground floor has patios.

We just got back from 1st trip to VWL. I remember seeing the dumpsters but they were on the extreme end away from the pool area. We were in studio #1537 which was a woods view 1st floor with a patio and the odd # rooms all faced the woods/lake(what you could see of it) but this was definitely on opposite side of dumpsters, vey near lobby/Iron Spike room which is part of villas.
