Ok, at least twice a day when I'm playing i get this message

' Out of memory loading cast member #, even after purging all purgable castmembers' what does this mean and why does it stop VMK?

If anyone knows how to prevent this please do tell me .

I got that for the first time a couple of days ago. I have no idea what it was about. I just restarted VMK.

Quit changing accounts so much I guess. lol

I did an experiment the other night to see if vmk was shutting down my accounts as I cahanged to other accounts. I used 2 windows, 1 with my main player and the other I started bringing in mules. I got 9 people in the room before I got that same error code even though 7 of them were logged out. As soon as I closed my window that I brought the mules in with, they all disappeared right at the same time.

This is why VMK is full all the time during quests and host rooms, nobodies mules are logging out of vmk.

When it happened to me, I was the only person logged on...in fact I had not logged on any other character that day. All I was doing was riding Peter Pan and all of a sudden, the error popped up.

I've gotten the message too, and at random times. I don't have the capability to play more than one character at once, so I know that's not it...I haven't found a way to avoid it, or predict when it's going to happen. Anyone know for sure what it is or why it happens?

I only have one character and get that. I think, like all other Disney-owned sites, they do not have the capacity for the number of visitors, so their servers get bogged down and they go through and log anybody who has been idle for X amount of time and people who have been logged in for X amount of time.

I always get this message when I get on my laptop. I usually just press 'ok' and it lets me log on.

It is a memory issue, I too have been getting this lately on my laptop even if only one person has been logged in. It seems to mainly occur while riding the rides. Three observations. One If i stick too one ride it doesn't occur as much Two if I don't open any other windows like even Dis it doesn't happen Three if anyone has been playing Pogo or other programs that hold onto memory I have to clear it all or it is gauranteed to happen.

It's not VMK; it's your computer. VMK software draws a lot of computer memory. If you don't have a lot of computer memory (RAM) it eats it really fast. If you are running more then one account at a time it eats more and more memory, then your computer can't support playing anything any more. When you close down VMK the memory is restored and you can start VMK again (refresh).

If you are only running one account but playing in lots of rooms in VMK (like riding the dark rides over and over) it eats lots of memory too especially if your computer doesn't have lots of virtual computer memory (RAM)

So the solution is basically don't run mules, or at least only run 2 at a time; buy more RAM; and refresh your VMK browser window from time to time especially before entering the queue to staff games.
