Question about Vero Beach and HH points

We are considering buying into DVC on the resale market, and would like to start with a small number of points (50-100). It seems like the only listings for that range are at Vero or HH.

My question is - do the points work the same as the on-site DVC resorts? As in, if I own at HH, I would book for OKW 7 months in advance? I know it may seem elementary, but I couldn't find info on this hardly anywhere. The places I have been usually talk about the "big 5" on property.

All 7 properties are the same. Your home resort is where you purchase and the other resorts are non-home resorts. You make reservations at non-home resorts at 7-months.

If you own HH for example, you would be able to make reservations at 11-months at HH, and make reservations at 7-months at any of the remaining 6 resorts.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! We rented points and will be at OKW (BWV if it becomes available) in December. We are going to make our decision after we experience DVC first-hand! I am so excited!

We own at HH (it was the least expensive) and added points about a year ago at Vero and have only used our points for 2 nights at HH in Jan. 2003. All our other trips have been to DVC properties in WDW. We have never been to Vero, yet.
