Hello,
I am new to the board. We are thinking of taking a vacation to Disney/Universal in May. My husband and I have 2 small children ages 2 and 4. My son is the 4 year old and very into things like Spidermand and Men in Black, ET etc. We already know he will have a great time at Universal. However, my daughter is a small 2, she is small and petite, under 36". Is there anything there that she will be able to enjoy? Will we all be able to stand in line together and just switch off who actually rides?
We will be going to the Magic Kingdom just for one day, Universal for 2. I used to live in FL and we'd go to Disney all the time, but it has been almost 10 years and I didn't have kids then! We went to Disneyland last October, but definitely needed more than one day there (my husband was there for a meeting) and the kids were sick the whole time. I wasn't that much fun. I have always loved Disney World more anyways.
I love this board, it is very informative. I am glad I found it!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Hi,

We went to IOA a couple years ago with our 2 kids and our daughter was 3 at the time and she loved Suess Landing - it's very cute and I would think your daughter would be able to do pretty much everything there. I don't know if it would be enough to last the whole day though.

I've never been to Studios so I couldn't tell you much about that (we plan to go in November!) but I know that they have a Barney show & some others that would probably be suitable for her.

Hope that helps some!

We went to Universal Studios with our 14 month old DD last summer. She was able to ride almost everything in the park. Even on the ET ride, she had her own bike while DH and I held her sides. She went on Terminator 3, Jaws, KingKong and Twister. She wasn't able to ride Back to the Future so we just did kid switches. IOA was less baby-friendly so we did many kid switches for that park! If I were you, I would do MGM or AK instead of IOA!

When my son was a toddler we went to Universal and IoA. He had a great time in both parks. We did have to do more switching off in IoA, but that park was worth it for Spiderman, if nothing else. You son would also really enjoy the Barge ride if he is tall enough. There was enough for my youngest son to do, including Suess Landing, which we all liked. There are enough little play areas in the parks to keep the young ones happy while they are waiting for their older siblings. Make sure that you either have them wear their swim suits or bring a change of clothes since thereare places to get wet. I think my now 3yo will be tall enough for Spiderman this visit, but won't be able to do the barge raft ride, Jurassic Park ride, etc.

Have fun!
