Question about Universal FOL Access

We are planning on booking a night or two at the HRH in Universal in July. The main reason is so that we can get FOL guest access.

Can anyone tell me how long this privilege lasts for? Can you check in at 11am and go straight to the park, and does it last for the whole day that you check out?

Once I know this we can decide on whether to book one night or two.

Thanks

I am sure I have read on the universal discussion that you get FOL the day you check in & all day the day you check out. You can go early on the day you check in & get your key even if you can't access your room yet. Maybe one of the moderators will move your post so you will get more replies.

Sue,

Nick is spot on with his reply.

We stayed at Hard Rock last year and did this. Our room wasn't ready so we left our luggage with Star Services, checked in and took the room keys off to the park.

On the last day we checked out and the keys were still valid for the whole day.

You can also continue to use the pool even though you've checked out - big bonus!.

We've booked one night at HRH this Easter for exactly this reason :) I can't wait!:Pinkbounc

Us too but at the Royal Pacific and in August. I dread to think how many hours of our life has been spent standing in a theme park queue so this sounds too good to be true. I'm just a bit worried I'll feel embarrassed sailing past all the non-onsite visitors! (well, maybe only a tiny bit worried!!)

We've done the very same thing for Easter too. We've booked one night at RPR just to get FOL access for 2 days.

I've no intention of feeling embarassed;). We are paying a lot for the privilege - $239 plus tax for 1 night!

All was fine, I had booked HIFS for 15 nights D/Cove, La Nouba, Chef Mickeys (for the kids you know), Adventure Express Tour at Seaworld & I dallied with the idea of 2 days, 1 night at a hotel on the coast. But just look what you've made me do talking about FOL access for resort guests, 1 night at the Portofino Bay, 2 days FOL! Whoo hoo..... Sorry.

We stayed at HRH this past Feb. FOTL was fab, however it would have been cheaper for us to buy 2 days of FOTL passes for the 4 of us than stay in the hotel!
Mind you the hotel was FAB and I would do it again.
We checked in at 9am and left at 5pm the following day.
Car parking was $6 for the period.

Ah yes - but if you buy FOTL, rather than stay at the hotel, don't you only get FOTL once per ride per day?

Julie

Julie,

yes - once for each ride.
