Question about transportation - please help!

Hi everyone,

I just read that there are taxis at WDW, which are expensive...
and some which are official and much cheaper.
Do yu have any advice - which taxis is the best to take????

Ok first... Are you going to be staying on site?... (Disney Owned hotels)

Yes... we will stay on site.
But a friend of mine told me... that at night... you need a taxi to drive
for example from Downtown Disney to your hotel

Your friend is mistaken. Pleasure Island closes at 2 the busses run back to your hotel until after that.

What your friend might have meant was that the last busses leave PI at 2:10AM. If you miss those busses, you would need to take a taxi.

Taxis aren't really that expensive. For example, to go from DTD to the All Stars would be about $15.
