Question about transportation from airport to parks

Not sure how to word this and my three year old twins are "helping" me right now, so if my sentences run on and don't make much sense, have mercy.

We are traveling to Disney June 8 - June 17. My parents are traveling with us, and are bigger Disney freaks then I am. My dad especially. They want to get to the Parks asap on the 8th. They have suggested that we fly on a late flight on June 7th, stay the night in the airport hotel, and then have a limo/car service pick us up first thing in the am. Then we would go check into our resort (SSR), leave our bags and take the bus to a park.

Has anyone done this before? Pros, cons, whatnot? Any information would be appreciated!

Lots of people do just that. The other thing you can do is to book DME. If you are all staying on-site, at SSR, then you are all entitled to it. Just pick a time that you want to leave the airport on the 8th, give DME the time/# of an arriving flight at about the time you want to head out. Say you want to leave MCO at 6:30...give them a real flight number of a plane that is arriving at 6:30 or shortly before. Then, do not use the yellow luggage tags they send you. Just plan on schlepping your bags down to the ground transportation area first thing in the morning. Side B of the main terminal is where you'll find DME. They are up and running pretty much 24/7, so you won't have any problem leaving that early in the morning. About an hour later (tops) you'll be checking in and on your way to a great day in the parks!!!
Or you can use a limo...but it is expensive since you have too many people in your group for a towncar. If it were me, I would use DME and spend the money elsewhere!!!

It would be MUCH quicker to check into your resort on the night you arrive. That way, you wake up in Walt Disney World. You just hop on a bus and you're at a park. No checking out of one place, no checking into SSR, etc.

We did this in November. Our plane landed around 10:00 p.m. It was great to just wake up and go with no other stuff to deal with.

I'd definitely go to WDW first thing on arriving. Personally, I'd rather only have one two travel day at the beginning of my vacation rather than two. But, that's me.
