When you transfer points, do you only have one transfer as a member, or one transfer per contract? If you own multiple contracts, do you have one transfer per contract? Thanks in advance for your help :)

It depends what you mean by contract. I have one use year and I own at 4 resorts. They are all part of the same main contract, they just have number extentions to differentiate them, so I can transfer once for 2014, once for 2015, once for 2016, and so on. I could do the transfers on the same day if I wanted. In fact I have transferred out from 2 years of points on the same call to MS when I wasn't able to use them all.

If I were to buy a resale I would have a 'new' contract for that new group of points which would mean another transfer possibility.

Or I could buy another use year direct and have a separate contract with transferability.

Clear as mud?

Just to clarify this, if you were to buy a resale, those points might or might not make it possible to do another transfer. If the new resale is titled the same and has the same use year as your other contracts, then the new resale would be part of the same MEMBERSHIP and would NOT make it possible to do another transfer. Transfer limits apply PER MEMBERSHIP, not per contract. A single membership can have many contracts and home resorts but only one use year.

Thanks Jean!

I am still confused, but we bought our points and it is what it is. Right now we have 150 BCV points and 120 PVB points all with a December use year. The PVB points are broken into 2 contracts of 60 points each. If I wanted to transfer PVB points, would I be able to transfer all 120 points or just 60 points to a member? Also, I have 3 points left for this year in my BCV contract. Would I be able to transfer those points to another member? If I transfer points out to another member, I won't be allowed to have points transferred in to my account, correct?

You can transfer any number of points; transfering doesn't have to be in whole-contract increments. If you want to sell a contract, you can't split it up, but transfering is just moving current year points to another member.

Yes, you can transfer once per use year per membership. Since all your contracts have the same use year, they're one membership. If you transfered those three points, you would not be allowed to make any other tranfer, in or out, for any other contract.

So, because I have two 60 point contracts, I would only be able to transfer one of them to another member correct? Then, that would be my one and only transfer for the year. Am I thinking correctly? Or, I can transfer all my points in one transaction to someone?

You get 1 transfer per year (use year). You can transfer 10 PBV points, or 60PBV points, or 120 PBV points, or 120 PBV + 3 BCV points. Any combination. They just have to be transferred to 1 other member at the same time. (Added: This assumes you have 1 master contract = 1 login and all 1 UY)

You can't transfer banked, borrowed, or holding points.

Thank you so much for clearing this up! Yes, I have one master contract and one use year :)
